What are the best baby toys?
I have a 6 month old baby boy and am starting to look more at toys, since he is becoming more interested in them. There are so many toys on the market and every one I see, I think "Oh, how cute…I’d love to get that!" Of course, I can’t afford tons of toys for my son, nor would I want to get him every toy imaginable. So, my question is…What have you found to be the best toys for children ages 0-2? I love fun toys that are also learning tools, and toys that will last him a while would also be a plus!
I am a speech therapist and we always recommend toys that make noise. Ones that name colors or letters and such are really good b/c they also help them learn. Books that read or make noise are really good also. Toys that sing nursery rhymes are also great b/c with the repetition kids learn the songs.
